Ofuji went to Fukagawa Shrine in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture

Hello! My name is “Ofuji”, the youngest child of “Komachi musume”(* ^^ *)

The first one to introduce is Fukagawa Shrine located in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture!

Seto City is a city of “Setomono”. It seems that Seto in “Setomono” is coming from this Seto city. It is Fukagawa Shrine that symbolizes it exactly.   Founder of Seto-yaki, Futoshiro (Kato Kagemasa) who went to China in the Kamakura period, learned the technique of pottery and reported it to Seto visited Fukagawa Shrine. Fujisiro is enshrined in the adjacent “Suehiko Shrine”.

And Fukagawa Shrine has a “Ryokan”(Japanese-style hotel )in the precincts!

Actually, I also stayed there, but I did not think there was a “Ryokan” at the top of the shrine that climbed the stairs of the shrine, I got lost a little bit (; _;)  However, the shrine in the evening which can be seen from the room was also special, and I felt the energy very strongly.

When I came to the shrine again in the morning, I felt different again from yesterday.     Fukagawa Shrine seems to have a long history as origin of Seto City shrine.

It was very beautiful to see Seto city streets where the sunlight was plugged in from the shrine’s premises. I felt that Fukagawa Shrine always protected Seto City.

It is the privilege of only those who stayed at this “Ryokan” that it feels a different aspect of the shrine in the morning and night (* ‘ω `*)
